Bronze Mignonette Lettuce Seeds (Aimers International) 2835. Heirloom Vegetable. Variety originated in USA. This loose-leaf butterhead type is very slow to bolt to seed. Large open heads to 454 g (1 lb). Frilled green leaves have a bronze tinge with a cream coloured heart. Makes a crisp colourful addition to any salad. Good for small space gardens. Matures in 55 days.
How to Grow
Sow seeds in a sunny site in successive crops every 2 weeks from April to August as long as both the soil and weather are cool.

COMMENTS: Work in lots of compost as lettuce does best in an organic, well draining fertile soil. For best flavour, harvest lettuce early in the morning. Keep soil evenly watered for best growth.
