Giant Red Mustard Oriental Greens Seeds (Oriental Type) 2580. Large savoyed leaves of deep purplish-red with white mid-ribs. Thick, tender leaves have mustard pungency and are an excellent addition to mesclun mixes or when combined with chicken dishes. Tolerant of cool weather in spring and fall. Plants can reach 60 cm (24"") in height.
How to Grow
350 seed/gram. In a sunny area with moist, fertile well drained soil, sow seeds in successive crops every two weeks from late April to early June and again from late August through to mid September as long as weather is cool. Sow seed 1.25 cm (1/2"") deep and 2.5 cm (1"") apart in rows spaced 45-60 cm (18-24"") apart. Thin plants to 20-25 cm (8-10"") apart in the row.
