Mammoth Melting Sugar Snow Pea Seeds (Aimers International) 2885. Heirloom Vegetable. Variety originated in USA. Enjoy tender sweet 10 cm (4"") pods fresh as well as in stir-fires and salads. Sturdy plants grow to 120 cm (48"") tall so staking is recommended. Best to pick pods while peas inside them are still small. Good freezing pea as well. Matures in 65-70 days.
How to Grow
in a sunny site with fertile well worked organic soil, sow seeds in successive crops every two weeks from early April to mid-May as long as weather remains cool. A late summer/fall crop is possible in some areas. Seed typically sprouts in 7 to 14 days.

COMMENTS: Keep plants evenly watered for best quality pods. As pods mature, pick daily to encourage continued production. Avoid using high nitrogen fertilizer. The large white flowers are quite ornamental.
