Plant Care Instructions

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain vivid foliage coloration. Avoid harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate leaves.
• Water: Water when the upper 2–3 cm of soil begins to dry. Keep the soil lightly and evenly moist during active growth, but never soggy, and avoid allowing the plant to sit in standing water.
• Soil: Use a light, airy, well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter. Good drainage is essential for protecting the rhizomes and roots from excess moisture.
• Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity with good air circulation. Avoid frequently wetting the foliage, as consistently damp leaves can encourage spotting or fungal problems.
• Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 18–27°C. Protect from cold drafts, sudden temperature changes, and prolonged temperatures below 15°C.
• Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce feeding during periods of slower growth.
• Maintenance: Provide consistent humidity and moisture while maintaining good airflow. Remove fallen leaves and debris from the soil surface to keep the plant tidy and healthy.
