Plant Care Instructions

• Light: Prefers medium to bright, indirect light. Keep away from harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch or dry the delicate fronds.
• Water: Keep the soil consistently and lightly moist, allowing the surface to dry only slightly between waterings. Avoid letting the root ball dry out completely or remain waterlogged.
• Soil: Use a rich, moisture-retentive but well-draining indoor potting mix with plenty of organic matter.
• Humidity: Thrives in moderate to high humidity. Bathrooms, humidifiers, or grouping with other plants can help prevent dry, crispy frond tips.
• Temperature: Prefers temperatures around 16–24°C. Protect from cold drafts, heating vents, air conditioners, and sudden temperature changes.
• Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce feeding during slower winter growth.
• Maintenance: Maintain consistent moisture and humidity, and remove fallen or dried fronds from around the plant to keep it tidy and healthy.
• Pruning: Trim brown, damaged, or aging fronds near the base with clean scissors. Avoid cutting healthy new growth emerging from the center.
• Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when roots become crowded, preferably in spring. Choose a container with adequate drainage and only move up slightly in pot size.
