With its subtle, fruity flavour that's commonly used in French and Italian herb blends, marjoram can be used to add a wonderful herbaceous flavour to roasted meats, in tomato and vegetable dishes. Also sweet and complex, this herb is wonderful in homemade vinaigrette dressings. Add it towards the end of cooking due to its delicate nature!
