Perfect for oaks, elms, and fruit trees vulnerable to fungi, bacteria, or beetle-borne infections, it helps prevent exposed wood from drying out and cracking after pruning or damage.

While general use of pruning paint is no longer recommended for every cut, it remains valuable for trees suffering from bark removal caused by animals, equipment, or severe weather—especially when large areas of exposed wood cannot naturally callous.
