Plant Care Instructions

• Light: Prefers very bright light and benefits from several hours of gentle direct sunlight. Introduce stronger sunlight gradually to prevent leaf scorch.
• Water: Allow the soil to dry thoroughly between waterings, then water deeply and let excess moisture drain completely. Reduce watering during slower winter growth.
• Soil: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. Added perlite or pumice can improve drainage and root aeration.
• Humidity: Prefers average to low household humidity with good air circulation. Avoid consistently damp or excessively humid conditions.
• Temperature: Grows well at approximately 18–27°C. Protect from frost, cold drafts, and prolonged temperatures below 10°C.
• Fertilizer: Feed lightly every 6–8 weeks during spring and summer with a cactus or succulent fertilizer diluted according to label directions. Avoid over-fertilizing.
• Maintenance: Rotate periodically for balanced growth and keep the foliage and soil surface free of debris. Avoid frequent watering, as excess moisture is one of the most common causes of problems.
• Pruning: Pinch or trim stems as the plant matures to encourage branching and maintain a compact, bushy shape. Remove damaged or declining leaves with clean tools.
• Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years or when roots become crowded, using a slightly larger container with excellent drainage.
