Peperomia Happy Bean – 2.25"

A playful and distinctive compact houseplant loved for its slender, bean-shaped foliage and fresh green color. Peperomia Happy Bean features narrow, succulent-like leaves that grow along upright branching stems, creating a lively, sculptural appearance. Its petite 2.25-inch size makes it especially appealing for desks, windowsills, terrariums, small shelves, and miniature plant collections.

Key Features

  • Unique narrow, bean-shaped leaves with a bright green appearance
  • Compact, upright growth creates an attractive miniature architectural form
  • Petite 2.25-inch size is perfect for desks, windowsills, shelves, and small-space displays
  • Succulent-like foliage stores moisture, making the plant relatively forgiving between waterings
  • Easy-care and distinctive choice for Peperomia collections and beginner plant owners

Plant Care Instructions

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light and can tolerate some gentle morning sun. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight, which may scorch the foliage.
  • Water: Allow the top portion of the soil to dry between waterings. Water thoroughly, then let excess moisture drain completely; avoid constantly wet soil.
  • Soil: Use a loose, well-draining potting mix with added perlite or similar material to provide excellent root aeration.
  • Humidity: Average household humidity is generally suitable. Moderate humidity and good air circulation support healthy growth.
  • Temperature: Prefers warm indoor temperatures around 18–27°C. Protect from cold drafts and prolonged temperatures below 13°C.
  • Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted to half strength. Reduce feeding during slower winter growth.
  • Maintenance: Rotate periodically to encourage balanced growth and avoid overwatering, particularly while the plant is growing in its small nursery container.
  • Pruning: Pinch or trim overly long stems to maintain a compact shape and encourage fuller, branching growth. Remove damaged foliage as needed.
  • Repotting: Repot when roots become crowded, typically every 1–2 years. Move up only slightly in pot size, as Peperomias generally perform well when somewhat snug in their containers.

Note: Plant pot may vary in design from the product image. Most plants come in a one-time-use plastic grower pot.
