Philodendron Pink Princess – 6"

A highly sought-after tropical houseplant celebrated for its extraordinary pink variegation and rich, dark foliage. Philodendron Pink Princess produces glossy, heart-shaped leaves in deep green to burgundy-black tones splashed, streaked, or marbled with vibrant shades of blush and bubblegum pink. Each new leaf offers a unique pattern, making this 6-inch Philodendron an exciting statement plant for collectors, shelves, plant stands, and tropical indoor displays.

Key Features

  • Striking pink variegation contrasts beautifully against deep green and burgundy foliage
  • Every leaf develops its own unique combination of pink and dark coloration
  • Climbing growth habit can be trained onto a moss pole or other vertical support
  • Highly decorative collector plant that creates a bold tropical focal point
  • Bright indirect light helps support healthy growth and attractive variegation

Plant Care Instructions

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to support healthy growth and maintain attractive pink variegation. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, especially the pink sections.
  • Water: Allow the top 3–5 cm of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Let excess moisture drain completely and avoid keeping the roots constantly wet.
  • Soil: Use a loose, airy, well-draining aroid mix containing materials such as quality potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite.
  • Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity, ideally around 50% or higher, but can adapt to typical household conditions with consistent care and good air circulation.
  • Temperature: Thrives at approximately 18–29°C. Protect from cold drafts and prolonged temperatures below 13°C.
  • Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted according to label directions. Reduce feeding during slower winter growth.
  • Maintenance: Wipe leaves gently when dusty and rotate the plant periodically for balanced light exposure. A moss pole or similar support can encourage larger, more mature foliage as the plant climbs.
  • Pruning: Remove damaged or declining foliage with clean tools. Pruning may also be used to manage growth, but natural levels of pink variegation can vary from leaf to leaf.
  • Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when roots become crowded, moving into a slightly larger container with excellent drainage.

Note: Pink variegation is naturally variable, so each plant may differ in color and pattern from the product image. Plant pot may also vary in design. Most plants come in a one-time-use plastic grower pot.
