Plant Care Instructions

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light to encourage healthy growth and vibrant coloration. Avoid prolonged harsh direct sunlight, which can scorch the foliage.
• Water: Allow the top 2–4 cm of soil to dry before watering thoroughly. Let excess water drain completely and avoid keeping the soil constantly soggy.
• Soil: Use a loose, airy, well-draining aroid mix containing materials such as quality potting soil, orchid bark, and perlite.
• Humidity: Appreciates moderate to high humidity for lush foliage but generally adapts to average household conditions with good air circulation.
• Temperature: Thrives at approximately 18–29°C. Protect from cold drafts and prolonged temperatures below 13°C.
• Fertilizer: Feed every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced liquid houseplant fertilizer diluted according to label directions. Reduce feeding during slower winter growth.
• Maintenance: Wipe the foliage gently with a soft, damp cloth when dusty and rotate the plant periodically to encourage balanced growth.
• Pruning: Minimal pruning is required due to its naturally compact growth habit. Remove yellowing, damaged, or aging leaves near the base with clean tools.
• Repotting: Repot every 1–2 years or when roots become crowded, moving into a slightly larger container with adequate drainage.
