Plant Care Instructions
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light for the strongest coloration but adapts well to moderate and lower-light conditions. Some gentle direct sun is tolerated.
- Water: Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly and let excess moisture drain away; avoid consistently damp soil, which can lead to root rot.
- Soil: Use a loose, fast-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. A container with drainage holes is strongly recommended.
- Humidity: Average household humidity is ideal. Additional humidity is generally unnecessary, and good air circulation is beneficial.
- Temperature: Thrives at approximately 18–29°C. Protect from frost, cold drafts, and prolonged temperatures below 10°C.
- Fertilizer: Feed lightly every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant or succulent fertilizer diluted to half strength.
- Maintenance: Wipe the leaves occasionally with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and showcase their rich color and contrasting margins.
- Pruning: Minimal pruning is required. Remove damaged, yellowing, or declining leaves at the soil line using clean, sharp tools.
- Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years or when noticeably root-bound. Choose a slightly larger container with excellent drainage.
Note: Plant pot may vary in design from the product image. Most plants come in a one-time-use plastic grower pot.
