Sansevieria Black Gold – 6"

A bold and sophisticated Snake Plant prized for its dramatic contrast and strong architectural form. Sansevieria Black Gold features tall, sword-shaped leaves in exceptionally deep green tones framed by vivid golden-yellow margins. Its upright growth creates a clean, modern silhouette, while its resilient, low-maintenance nature makes this 6-inch plant an excellent choice for homes, offices, bedrooms, and contemporary indoor displays.

Key Features

  • Dark green, sword-shaped foliage edged with striking golden-yellow margins
  • Strong upright growth creates a bold architectural accent
  • Drought-tolerant and exceptionally easy to maintain
  • Adapts to a wide range of indoor lighting conditions
  • Excellent statement plant for modern homes, offices, desks, and floor displays

Plant Care Instructions

  • Light: Prefers bright, indirect light for the strongest coloration but adapts well to moderate and lower-light conditions. Some gentle direct sun is tolerated.
  • Water: Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water thoroughly and let excess moisture drain away; avoid consistently damp soil, which can lead to root rot.
  • Soil: Use a loose, fast-draining cactus or succulent potting mix. A container with drainage holes is strongly recommended.
  • Humidity: Average household humidity is ideal. Additional humidity is generally unnecessary, and good air circulation is beneficial.
  • Temperature: Thrives at approximately 18–29°C. Protect from frost, cold drafts, and prolonged temperatures below 10°C.
  • Fertilizer: Feed lightly every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant or succulent fertilizer diluted to half strength.
  • Maintenance: Wipe the leaves occasionally with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and showcase their rich color and contrasting margins.
  • Pruning: Minimal pruning is required. Remove damaged, yellowing, or declining leaves at the soil line using clean, sharp tools.
  • Repotting: Repot every 2–3 years or when noticeably root-bound. Choose a slightly larger container with excellent drainage.

Note: Plant pot may vary in design from the product image. Most plants come in a one-time-use plastic grower pot.
